The Foundation is governed on an arm’s length basis by past and current members of the Kellett School community 

Alex Woodthorpe

Chair of Kellett Foundation

Alex is Chairman of the Foundation and father to three Kellett alumni. He was a founding director of the Kellett Foundation when he chaired the school’s Development Committee, and was a member of the Kellett School board from 2016 to 2020. 

In August 2020 he and his family moved to the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia where he is now a company Director for both regional and local businesses. He remains closely involved with education as a member of the board of Somerset College and Somerset Storyfest, Australia’s leading children’s literacy charity.

Dr. John Cribbin

Director

Dr John Cribbin was Chairman of the Kellett School Board of Governors from 1998 to 2002 and a Board Member from 1996 until 2003. His 3 children attended Kellett, Alex from 1992 – 1999, Hugo from 1994 – 2001 and Louise from 1996 – 2003

David Kidd

Director

David chaired Kellett School’s Board of Governors from 2003 to 2017 and he and Sarah have three daughters, Gina, Susanna and Eliza, who attended Kellett School between 1998 and 2017. David is a lawyer and since ceasing full-time practice in 2020 has been based in the UK and his native New Zealand, continuing to visit Hong Kong regularly, being involved in a number of business and charitable ventures including the Kellett School Foundation in Hong Kong and a soon to be established Kellett School Foundation in the UK.

Damien Mooney

Director

Vice Chairperson of the Kellett School Board of Governors & Chair of Development Committee

Damien Mooney has lived in Hong Kong with his family since 2006. Damien is the Chair of the Strategic Development Committee and a member of the Finance & Estates Committee. Damien has extensive experience in leadership positions in the investment management industry in sales, marketing, strategy & technology.

Peter Goulston

Member

Peter has lived in Hong Kong for over twenty years and was himself bought up there before returning to work in banking in 2000. His three children were all born in Hong Kong and attended Kellett from Reception in Pok Fu Lam onwards. Peter was on the Kellett Board for eleven years, of which the last five years to 2021 he was Chairman. He is very happy to continue his association with Kellett through the Foundation’s work for the School and the wider community.

Ann Mc Donald OBE

Member

Ann Mc Donald OBE was the much-loved Principal of Kellett School from 1996 to 2019. Ann led the school from a small Prep School in Pok Fu Lam, to the two campus through-school that Kellett is today. Ann was awarded an OBE for her education and the British community in Hong Kong when she retired after 23 years in post.

Nick Marsh

Member & Kellett School Board of Governor

Nick Marsh is the Managing Director of Meraki Executive Search and Consulting, a human resource firm focussing on Executive Search and Professional Development, operating out of Hong Kong, Vietnam and India. It created the Women’s Directorship Program (WDP) in 2013, a board readiness program for top women executives, run as a joint venture with The University of Hong Kong Business School. Nick has two children at Kellett and is the member of the Governance Committee.

Silvia Pezzini

Chairperson of the Kellett School Board of Governors

Silvia Pezzini is Head of Financial Stability Surveillance at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and has expertise in Economics, Public Policy and Big Data analysis. She has two children at Senior School and is Chair of the Principal’s Evaluation Committee.
